nothing showing up in the output

Question

I’m following a tutorial on the bases of Godot and I have hit the stages on how to create variables. nothing i type in shows in the output tab and what I’m typing is identical to what it shown in the tutorial.

Im unsure. How do i check that? This is my 1st time using this program
