NPCs stop moving after some time

In a 2d game, some NPCs randomly stop moving after a few minutes even though their AI still runs. Using NavigationRegion2D and move_and_slice(). No errors shown. Could this be a nav or physics issue??

Yes it could. Or it can be something else. Maybe.

  1. Which NPCs stop and which don’t?
  2. Is it consistently the same ones every time?
  3. Have you turned on the pathing debugging to see where they are “going” when they’re not moving? (The debug setting is in the NavigationAgent2D.)
