Operating system compatibility of included fonts

Question

I apologize if this question is very obvious, I am very new to Godot and game development. Does anyone have any experience with the compatibility and accute rendering of font text on different devices/operating systems (Linux, iOS, Microsoft, Andriod, mobile, desktop, etc)? I want all users to have the same experience and I don’t want symbol tofu or some other unintended effect. But my other alternative is to include the text as a bitmap image and I’m afraid that might bloat my project significantly as there’s a lot of text I would have to do that with in my project. A font would certainly take up less space, but I also want my user experience to be consistant regardless of the device as much as possible. Thoughts?

You can potentially bundle a font with your game, and then all copies of the game will render with that font.

NOTE: Read the font license carefully before you consider doing this!
