Problem exporting Godot 3 to MacOS

I have a problem exporting from Godot 3 to MacOS (version 10.13). I was able to obtain an executable dmg file. However when I run it the sprites are not visible and all the buttons have been shifted. Some buttons work, while others do nothing, so the game is unplayable. Has anyone else experienced these problems? How can I fix them?

Is the game working when you play it from the editor?
If it works in editor but not when exported, then maybe it’s a bug and you should make a minimal project showing the issues you describe, and post it on the issue tracker on Github so that devs can have a look.
