Ragdoll feet disconnect

Godot Version

4.2.2

Question

Trying to make a ragdoll that activates when the character dies, but his feet fall off when he ragdolls.

I’ve checked that his foot bones in Blender are connected to his shins and nothing about the feets physicsbone3d nodes seem different to the ones on any other part of his body.

Been trying to work this out for days and i can’t find any solutions.

Ragdolls are like this, they never work right. You have to tweak the collision boxes and properties for days…

I have a question: do the feet have separate collision boxes?
If they do, try merging the foot with the shin.
And if that doesn’t work make it a gore
If you can’t fix a bug, make it a feature!

Strange part is that it looks fine here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyUt7kfPmLY

And I’m following the same steps as him.

That man! I also followed the same steps just like you but,my player became a fully fluffy ball.
He used godot 3.3 soo maybe that can be an issue or somthing else …

FOUND THE ISSUE!
When exporting from Blender, the feet and hands where following IK controls with IK constraints and had their respective vertex groups also set to follow the IK controls.

I baked the IK motion onto the armature, updated the hands and feets vertex groups to follow the actual foot and hand bones and re-exported to Godot and now it works.
