Raycast shape with player

Godot Version



I want to have a raycast 2d node, seperate from the player, then i want to set the raycast shape to the player shape. then I want to get the collision point for the raycast. then i want to delete the node. this is for a teleporter that teleports the player to the wall that it is facing. please dont link the documentation and say figure it out yourself please. thankyou in advance.
