Godot Version

Question
I am currently working on a flying airplane project and everything was going great, however after a week break I returned to the project and with no changes made am having some really strange rendering problems. No matter the camera or anything when it moves the entire world glitches a bit. Something you might see when a game lags for example, the only problem? This project is running at over 100fps. Attached is a video with the problem, any ideas?
Could you explain what you expect to happen versus what is really happening? It seems like a potentially normal video to me.

Huh, now Im even more confused. You are totally right this video looks completely normal. In fact any video I capture of the bug looks normal but when actual playing it is a debilitating rendering issue. The only way I can really think to describe it as multiple frames are rendering over eachother. Like the mountaints in the video will stack multiple times the sky will have a bunch of flickering lines. Or the entire thing will just flicker in and out. I will try to screen shot the issue if I can?
Could it be that your computer is running some background tasks and can’t cope with the demands?
I also found that I can generate visual ‘bugs’ if while a big scene is loading and prepping (so doing all the heavy lifting) if I start swapping windows and turn on the debugging monitors and flick about a bit to excel and a browser and back, then many of my sprites and animations render as white blocks. If I don’t do this, everything is fine. I put that down to a PC issue rather than a godot problem.
The file was too big to upload but here is a link to a video i took on my phone of the problem: video glitch.mp4 - Google Drive
That is a possibility but I am getting pretty good fps and im only having problems with godot, this also isnt like…the most taxing project. There are like 2 scripts running in total with no loops. There are also no other applications running in the background. It is also only this project. All my other ones are running fine.

Good news, I have fixed the problem. All it took was updating my PC. I dont know why it was affecting only 1 gosot project but its working great now!

Microsoft could be pulling a fast one on you…
I have read reports about windows 11 intentionally lagging your pc, to make you update their os
It is not a coincidence that at a time where there is an update available, your pc lags more frequently.
It’s all marketing to Microsoft
