Rendering problem on Nvidia cards

Godot Version

Godot 4.7

Question

We have been working on our game and it’s nearing launch, and some people report this bug that we can’t seem able to replicate (check image).

This bug happens only on Nvidia cards, and for some it gets fixed by restarting the game while for others it’s constant.

Did anybody else encounter a similar bug, and if so, how do you fix it?

Could you show the same scene (more or less) rendered properly?

Sorry for the late reply, here you go:

I could be wrong, but it kind of looks like the bump mapping lighting (or some other lighting; are the floor and woodgrain geometry or normal maps?) is blasting out the color on almost everything. I’m suspecting bump here because your grey-with-bricks wall texture looks fine on all surfaces, and the round emblem on the wall look fine, but everything else seems to be full black or full white.

If you are using normal maps (and assuming you have access to a machine with the bug or someone who does and is willing to test) maybe try pulling the normal maps off something and checking whether that thing starts rendering correctly…

The all also has a normal map, but the it renders properly.

It’s a big headache cause it’s not a consistent look, for example:
