Replacement for Capture tracks

I recently updated my project from Godot 4.1.1 to 4.2.1, the update that disabled the functionality of Capture Tracks in the Animation Player. In my project, I used the capture tracks to create smooth transitions between a 3D character idling, walking, etc., and now the animations just snap instead of transitioning. Is there an alternate method to achieve a similar result of capture tracks, or am I stuck between a rock and a hard place until their functionality is added back?

Godot 4.2 arrives in style!.
