Saving nodes individually

For some reason saving a character I imported via Blender takes an abnormally long time. Is there a way to save a scene without saving that particular node each time?

Save the game infos to a file. Create a function save(), and inside this function, return a dictionary of properties you want to save for the character. To save the dictionary into a file, use to_json(), to load the file, use parse_json(). To load the character, reset its properties to what you saved in the file.
