Script inherits from native type 'Node2D', so it can't be assigned to an object of type: 'Timer'

I’m not sure why it’s coming up as an error please help. the only time it’s even in the same scene as a timer is when it waits for timer timeout to start spawning.

show a screenshot of your scene tree. the script you shared doesn’t extend a timer and doesn’t have any timer related functions
