Separate Collision Body, refuses to Collide.

Problem

Hello There, I’m trying to get the collisions to work properly on this hammer I’m using, although for some reason it completely ignores collision.

What have you tried?

I tried using a Rigid Body and a Pin Joint but it would collide with the character its self? and acted weirdly and jittered a lot, The collision layer and masks are the same. no other ideas came to me that could fix this
