Show code Editor and 2D editor at the same time

I’m using a wide screen and have enough space to fit both editors, but after a while looking at the editor’s settings I couldn’t find a way to show both at the same time (without using external code editor)

Has anyone done it and can help me?

You can detach the script editor since 4.1 as long as single-window mode is disabled. Use the button in the top-right corner for this.

Note that this isn’t available in the Android and web editors as the single-window mode is forced there. In 4.3, Linux on native Wayland currently also has single-window mode forced, although not if you run its X11 backend via XWayland.
