Simulate user interactions to build a level for faster prototyping?

Question

I am working on a game where you can build a conveyor system and you can place and connect all the different modules together.

There is some logic in place that connects the modules when I place them. So now every time I make changes to the logic I have to start the game again and place all the modules again to see if it worked.

Is there a way to script or automate these user interactions to save some time?

I guess in a worst case scenario I will have to write a script to place all the modules and trigger the logic to connect them all. But is there another solution? :slight_smile:
