Sub-region edit not working correctly

4.3 and 4.4

Question

I have started making a small game so I can come to grips with the engine and gdscript.
Previously when using 4.2 I have no issue with sub-region edit when creating user interface elements, everything worked out very well.
Since starting again in 4.4 I notice that when using the sub-region edit it appears to zoom in instead of moving the inner part towards towards the edge.


In the above screenshot it shows the sub-region edit screen with the top and right sides edited.

Above is the result of the edit after closing the editor.
Is there something that has changed in 4.4 to the way the sub-region editor works that I am unaware of.

Is your sprite sized big enough to hold the region?

Yes, it is very strange, I opened another 4.3 project that I was working on in 4.4 and everything was working correctly, when I reopened the project with the problem everything was now working, so no idea why it was not working previously, but it seems ok now.
