Sweeping "dash attack" mechanic

I’m trying to create a game with a special dash/teleport ability, but I’m having trouble creating the hitbox for it. I need a hitbox that extends out from the player towards the mouse, a good point of reference is the dragon-dash from Katana Zero, but with a bit more width.
The dash/teleport itself works just fine, but I just cant get a working hitbox.
