The Forward+ renderer crashes the editor when I try to open the project

Hello!
I’ve been working on a simple 2D project. Out of interest, I changed the renderer from “Compatibility” to “Forward+”. The editor restarted and crashed. It now crashes everytime i try to open my project, presumably because of the default renderer. What do I do?
It doesn’t show any information except for default Windows message “Godot Engine stopped working”

You can edit your project.godot file with a text editor and change the mode:

[rendering]

renderer/rendering_method="gl_compatibility"
