I am currently facing an issue where my game world is made as a tilemap, with y sort, so the player has to be a descendant for that to work properly,
Ive also added the ability to spawn in extra buildings, which are also tilemaps. Now I have buildings that don’t respect per-tile ysorting like the world tilemap does, is there any way i can incorporate additional tilemaps into a tilemap while respecting the ysort?
extracting the tilemap to be a direct descendant of the world tilemap didnt work, messing with the z index didnt work
