Trying to make a smooth transition from player camera to autoscroller

So i have been working on making an autoscroller section for my game and i have just started working on it and a big problem I am facing is once i enter the area2D that the transition of the camera works but i want it to be smooth transition to another camera or make the camera for the player start following the followpath2d but im very new to using nodes such as remotetransform2d and have been sturggling to find the best outcome
