ViewportContainer Nodes

Godot Version

Currently I’m trying to display a 3d scene through a subviewport container.

The problem arises when I want the subviewport to have a high resolution but the UI element a smaller size. It seems the UI element’s size is tied to the subviewportcontainer’s size. I can’t change the size property.

This means that the only way for me to make this smaller and actually fit into the ui is to lower the size of the subviewport but then it just looks awful.

How can I display a high resolution image in a smaller space?

There might be a better way, but you can simply add another parent control (one of the Container subtypes) to wrap the SubViewportContainer and set the Scale on that outer container.

Thank you!

That worked although it wasn’t ideal. This contributes a but to my suffering with control nodes.
