I wanted to create a community-based game where players build a world with stairs and blocks and share their creations via YouTube and maybe if I can find a free forum making site a official forum, I have been desperately looking for a community for the game. I don’t think that you find random people and tell them to be in your game’s community. Your game has to be fun to other people, so they’ll share it with other and others do the same.
Discord is pretty common and popular. You should also be marketing your game, making image and video content to promote both your game and community spaces.
Communities aren’t simply found somewhere; they have to be built. Slowly and patiently. I’d start by improving your own online presence: create a website, link to it from your social media profiles, start a subreddit on Reddit, set up a Discord server, and stay active in discussions. Start a devlog, make videos, and regularly share updates about the development progress. There are plenty of possibilities, but nothing will happen automatically.
