I’m looking to make level maps somewhat similar to the portable monster hunter games, small arenas linked together via loading zones, I’d love to just make one big model for the ground with collision but all the guides for 3D I could find talk about gridmaps. If I had an area modeled in blender, how would I go about giving it matching collision? Is there a different preferred way going about this? I would love information or pointers to information about the best practice on going about doing this.
You can model colliders in Blender as well.
If you create a MeshInstance3d and add the mesh resource, select the MeshInstance3d node then at the top right menu theres an option to create a collision mesh.
