In a 2d big resolution games whics is more optional for performance reason?
Using texture atlases is not a option because my sprite images is too large and animated too, so pls tell me whics is the better method for performance reason?
shuld be using big animated sprites or maybe make with shaders that animation with much fever textures like gradient,voronoi etc…
I means thats big sprite images: Skye’s, big trees, Big lakes , Big anything and these animated too.
A another question: If i have a single big image sprite with one blue color completely and have an another same is generated by shaders then which take up more spaces in below the gpu-vram?
