why appear some models 180° y-axis rotated?

I found weinr behavior:

i made mesh-instances with cube-meshes for walls, boxes and target-plates.

if i look from the top onto them, that the x-axis points to the right with it´s positive end, the texture on the top is oriented the 180° rotated fron how it´s drawn in the png-graphic-file.

Also i wonder, that i hat to activate v-flip on the viewports to make them show their content upright.

what may cause these weird turn-arounds?
