Why does my CollisionShape2D fill the whole screen?

Hello guys, im relativley new to godot and am trying to make a killzone at the bottom of my game world. for some reason whenever I try to attach CollisionShape2D to my killzone and assign a shape to it, it automatically fills the whole scene and i cannot make It smaller or even see the edges. Please help…

if your killzone scaled wildly? Can you show a screenshot of your 2d view and/or inspector

oh my gosh, I feel stupid now, my CollisionShape2D was a normal size but its parent object was really big for some reason, thank you!
