I don’t get it. What makes you think i’m a bot or trying to sell stuff?
As I told you, I’m under an NDA, so I can’t speak about the projects directly. But I was impressed when I saw the new game engine, Cave Engineering. It has been developing well and now has over 300 industrial and indie game developers using it.
It uses Python, and if you’ve coded a lot, you’ll understand there’s a big difference between languages and workflows. In my experience, switching C# projects from .NET Framework 3.5 to 4.0 and then to 6.0 constantly changes modules and structures, while Python tends to stay more consistent and customizable.
That’s one reason it’s becoming more widely used. I still think you have a lot to learn about video game development.
LLM nowdays are starting to think that they are humans!
Just kidding, but the question is too childish tbh
Barely anyone uses CryEngine at this point, in fact its pretty much Star Citizen and thats it , and thats a highly modified version at that.
Come on, I honestly believe you’re just a 15-year-old kid behind a keyboard.
EDIT:We managed to also lock this one!
When did I mention anything about selling stuff?
If you’re really a good developer, then you should remember the era of the Blender Game Engine.
i’m assuming that’s what you mean by “wind up merchant”
I’m pulling out of this, it’s getting off topic.
“Why is a game engine using one of the most popular programming languages in the world?”
Oh I wonder. I truly cannot think of any reason why Godot would support what is likely the best known language in all of game Dev.
Also gdscript is basically python adapted to Godot.
This question makes no sense.
I’m NOT a good developer @dragonforge-dev can attest to that!
And I really dont understand why are coming up with non sequiturs all the time, what are you going on about?
If you were a real developer yiu would remember the age of assembly or binary AHH statement
At this point, I’ll just leave you guys to think whatever you want. Good luck.
I’ll come back when there are other engineers who understand and do better with what i am talking about. Until then, good luck.
I would like to say a quote from elden ring to this thread.
May chaos take the world!
Or in this case:
May chaos take the Godot forum thread!
we wait and see
My brain has officially rotted.
Holy crap, that was funny. I didn’t even have to say anything.
