Why is my animation jittering?

I have this train with an animated connecting rod. It works just fine in blender, but in godot, the rod jitters, changes size, and jumps when it's on one side of the wheel. Can anyone tell me why this is and how I can fix it? I tried changing the animation curves (linear, constant, and cubic) and this just made it worse.

I figured it out. The bones that stretched for the pistons were too short and so the connecting rods couldn’t move any closer to the pistons.
