Window when a scene has changed outside Godot

Godot Version

Godot 4.6.stable

Is there a solution to deactivate the window when a scene (tscn) or the project.godot has changed from extern?

I would like to always auto reload such changes without this window. Can’t find a setting for this.
I know that it has changed, I did the change, but not in the Editor. Is there a way to set this up in “Project Settings”?

I 100% agree with you its annoying.
It’s a known Godot limitation unfortunately — no way to suppress the .tscn reload dialog from an external tool. There IS a partial fix though: Editor Settings → Text Editor → Behavior → Auto Reload Scripts on External Change eliminates the dialog for .gd script files.

you can talk to me on Discord if you want, im more active there: Tomyud#6595

For .gd it’s already deactivated here. My problem are the tscns. (and project.godot)

I’m the last days active here in the forum to get rid of discord. I don’t like the development there with the coming face scans and/or id scan. Data harvesting for the “Palantir” partner “Persona”.

well I hope they fix that in the coming Godot releases there is nothing much I can do. We can try to open an issue on their Github but they are overworked right now.
