People Being Disrespectful and Not Knowing It

That’s how you learn. We would much rather you ask us questions than come to us with LLM-generated code and ask us to fix it and learn nothing.

After discussing this issue among the moderators, we all agreed that posting guidelines is something that will be useful to everyone on the Forum. Taking all your suggestions into account, I have created this pinned post in the Help channel that will hopefully be visible to new users, but will also give more senior users an opportunity to direct new users to an official guideline.

Please note that these are not hard set rules, but are called guidelines for a reason. We appreciate your continued support in making this Forum a welcoming place for everyone!

I second this. Everything here is essential for creating a great Help topic. It’s great that the forum gets small QOL improvements like this.

@wchc You might wanna lock this post though. This pinned topic shouldn’t spiral.

Or lock THAT post, since my reply was moved.

I wanted to leave that topic open for any potential suggestions on how to improve that post, but on the second thought, I decided to indeed close it as to not make it confusing for anyone. In case there are any suggestions - you can open the Forum Feedback topic.

Hence I moved your reply here.
