Rookie programmer: Attempting to make games for fun, but never finished anything release-worthy

I’m primarily trying to get used to the editor and it’s features, but I just jump around aimlessly between difficulties of my projects and brute force it from there

I used to use ChatGPT to assist with issues (not vibe coding I promise), then switching to simple google searches due to apparent laziness, but am moving to here for the reliable fixes and responses.

My current project is a simple Tag game
I am (noticing that I am) working with:
Multiplayer connections (sometimes)
Control nodes and GUI

I’m pretty sure that a lot of what I say will come off in an unintended way and/or sound incredibly rough, and I do apologize, I am getting used to interacting in this community.

Also I have a tendency to talk a lot, especially when I’m passionate about something (e.g. coding). So I often have to hope that I filter out a lot of my joyful over-explanations when I post a Topic
Speaking of that this has already gotten long, gosh.
