2d lighting, make light cast translucence vs darkness

I’m messing around with lighting and I’m not sure how to go about this, here’s what I got below. 2 2DLights one is on mask mode and the other is on Add mode. What I’m trying to accomplish is having the object that gets darker, get more transparent rather than darker. I want to hide objects in the darkness.
