I’ve been working on some pixel art for my own side project and ended up putting it together into a full asset pack. It’s post-apocalyptic themed and includes:
2 animated characters (player + enemy) with full sprite sheets and gifs
Ruined houses & buildings
Trees with seasonal variations
2 complete tilesets (outdoor + cave)
Layered parallax backgrounds
All assets come as transparent PNGs and .aseprite source files so you can edit them however you like.
I recommend making the colors of the player and monster not blend in quite so well to the rest of the palette. It’s very frustrating as a player to lose visual track of your character or enemies because they blend into the game.
Yes, you are definetly correct about that and its good feedback! I will try to keep that more stronger in mind and that would be more contrast between backgrounds - thank you for pointing it out!
Yes that can be done in Godot quite easily. Also with shader can add for characters white outline! I maybe will draw for characters white outlines also for pack, then if some people want can use with white outlines version!
