1.2.8 is on the Microsoft Store. There is a tutorial chapter before chapter 1 now.
The line at the bottom says what to do. The panel at the side draws the keys or the mouse being used: W A S D lit in turn, the mouse seen from above with its button lit and then dragged. It is all drawn in _draw() with StyleBoxFlat, no textures, and the key you actually hold lights up too. Every chapter also keeps a small controls legend over the minimap.
