Android Portrait game is not using the whole screen

I’ve been going through this Doc (Multiple resolutions — Godot Engine (latest) documentation in English) to make my 2048 Clone game run on Android Device. I’ve copied the reccomended pre-set project settings (720,1080, 2D stretch mode, expand aspect ratio) and the game does not use my full android screen space.

I’ve been experimenting and even tried ignore aspect ratio but I still get similar results

I tried this on two android phones and a tablet device, the tablet leaves less space blank but the phones leave a considerable amount as you can see in screenshot.

Basically every app on my phone uses all my screen space so it should be possible to make my game do so.

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong or what I’m not understanding here.

Any ideas?

I’m also facing the same problem, did you find a solution to it?
