Android won't export onto my device.

I’m having trouble getting my project to get onto my device. I have the ADB, Jarsigner, and Keystone and put in, but whenever I press the button, it tells me it went through but it isn’t on my device. Is anyone else having this problem?

Also an error is appearing but I have no idea what it means.

 core/io/image_loader.cpp:56 - Error opening file ''.

If anyone can help that would be awesome. Because I need to be able to playtest this.

Can you export your game as .apk?

I have the same problem. There is an issue on github for this: Android export error when deleting the default icon.png · Issue #39218 · godotengine/godot · GitHub

It seems related to the default icon.png. The error shows up when you remove it. However, I tried to add the icon back again but the problem doesn’t go away…

Have you found a way to fix this?

EDIT: Here’s how to fix your project!

  1. create a new project
  2. copy the icon.png and the icon.png.import to res:// in your project
  3. add the following in project.godot under [application]

Now the deployment to android should work again.
