-Babelek- Our submission for the Global Game Jam 2025!

We made this funny little game where you play as a grandpa who wants to buy a bubble maker for his grandson. To gain some money, you have to work cleaning the floor at a museum. But be careful! The floor is very slippery and you don’t want to break any of the museum’s artifacts, as their cost would be deducted from your salary!

Play here, directly from your browser!

The game is in Spanish, but you don’t really need to understand the little text there is to enjoy the game. Just in case, I’ll translate what the game tells you when you complete the game:

“The bubble maker is obsolete! And now your grandson wants you to buy him the new one that has been put on sale. Wanna play again?”

yes, the game never ends because your grandson will always ask you to buy him another one!

Feel free to give feedback or ask any questions regarding the development or any other stuff you feel curious about!

Please enjoy

I have played your game. It is cute. It is good idea that the broom dryes out (at first I was confused why it stops cleaning) and you get minus point when colliding with furniture - nice arcade balance. I admire people for simple but gameable project, such as yours. Good job.

Thank you for playing the game! We’re glad you enjoyed it

After a little retrospective, now we know that we should have made it clearer when the player runs out of water or maybe show some kind of feedback to tell the player that they should go for a refill.

That was exactly our goal! A small, yet enjoyable game. It was quite a challenge making the game in just a weekend, we are happy that it worked out. Thank you again for your feedback and kind words!

Very nice, good job. I like the audio effects alot, really add to it. Very easy though and not too much of a challenge. A great fun little game for a game jam. The intro images were self explanatory, loved those too. There is a lot to like about this. Well done and thanks for sharing it here.
