Blender, Mixamo and Godot: creating a modular 2D, 2.5D and 3D platform game

The Complete GameDev Workflow: Model with Blender, Animate with Mixamo, Code with Godot, and Build Your 2D, 2.5D and 3D Games.

After some time of silence, learning and searching through the posts looking for solutions to my problems I am here to introduce to you my new project, I started learning Blender and Godot because I had a dream to have those bedtime stories I used to create for my two kids become something real they could still have and remember when they will grow up, so being a game dev I decided to make those stories become a videogame and a book.

Since I am not rich I had to find a way to fund this main project so I decided to write a technical book as a first step and here it comes “Blender, Mixamo and Godot” a book about the best open source workflow for indie game developers.

I hope you like it and being the great community I know, help me spread the word.

Please avoid using AI for the cover. Even a stock image is more appealing.
Also, PSA: I ran a few random pages of the book preview through gptzero.me (an AI detector) and it told me that they samples were 100% AI. I also pasted this forum post in as a control group and it returned 100% human. The book is likely AI generated.

well what is appealing is a matter of tastes and I like the way the cover came out and on the printed preview I received by amazon looks pretty great…about AI being english not my native language the only way I could be sure to make a proper translation is by going through Gemini AI that I used to translate and check all the 400 pages to avoid mistakes and I can say that even after that I found 5 typos… better not talk about AI suggestions about GDScripts that are absolutely to avoid  we are in 2025 and if AI can help me review and clean up a book for free it is more than welcome
