Creating my first video game

I started this game by creating it from hand-drawn illustrations (obviously, I did some on the computer for added detail), as well as songs I composed myself. I’m an independent developer and I’m eager to share a glimpse of my game. It’s only been six months since I started creating it with markers and my first computer. I’m also using only free software like Libresprite, Godot, and the version of Ableton Live that comes with MiniLab 3. With this, I hope to pay for my university studies, so I hope you enjoy this brief look at my game.

The font style and art style of your game have left a deep impression on me. How did you create it?

It took several hours to search for sources on various sites and many hand-drawn and painted sketches, which I then edited on the computer, adding shadows and removing things I didn’t like.
