After a slight delay due to GodotCon and the yearly contributor meeting we are back with a feature-packed update including the much-requested interactive in-game editing mode!

I didn’t know they were making an Unrailed 2, and it’s a surprise to learn that they did it in Godot!
apparently it’s one of those games that was ported from unity, except in this case it was mostly made in C# so it was ported with minimal changes. I personally don’t like when people do this, but it is still possible.

about the dev 4, they sorta glossed over the fact they added instance shaders to compatibility, which to me sounds like an important feature.
and the interactive in-game editing came out of nowhere, fortunately it will be optional and continue to run in a different thread.

and as always, performance improvements are always welcomed!

Why though?

Every release is closer to typed dictionaries and interpolated 3D physics.
