Hey everyone,
I’ve been using Godot for a few months now, and seeing the 4.5 changelog hype me up, especially because it looks like it might fix the issues I’m having with my Linux Wayland setup. Right now, using Godot is pretty tough: I get ghost windows (fixed it with by disabling the external window but that as it’s limitation), and the editor preview often freezes, which really slows things down.
I’m really looking forward to this update and wondering if anyone has a rough idea of when 4.5 might be released?

To everyone contributing and the Godot teams keep up the good work and thank you guys

Usually they aim for a month of final touches after releasing the beta, but it’s a flexible schedule.
4.4 was released after about 6 weeks since 4.4beta1.

Also, don’t hesitate to test the beta version
If you’re stillg having those issues and you can spot them, you will have a chance to have them fixed before the full release
