Dev snapshot: Godot 4.5 dev 1

Our first development snapshot for Godot 4.5 has arrived!

The coming of Spring (in the Northern hemisphere) has thawed the thick cover of feature freeze which held many feature PRs in stasis.

With a first harvest of ca. 400 PRs, it’s time to start testing!

good features overall.

I was surprised to see that dragging UIDs was not in 4.4, but this makes it a bit confusing.

they finally optimized tilemaps, at least the physics part.

I’m also seeing more and more performance optimizations being made, and some yet to come. I didn’t think it was possible but the next version might be even faster than 4.4!
