Is it, or would it, be possible to add a category filter that allows me to, for example:
filter out the General category so I don’t have to look at all the AI-related posts?
I’m only on this forum to help other users, and to read the occasional Godot Update announcement.
If not this, maybe a keyword filter or something?

It already exists. Click on Help on the left-hand side of the Forum. You’ll only see Help posts.
I’d like everything but the General category – not only the Help category.
I know it’s almost the same – but it’s not.
I was wondering the same when I saw another post about AI.
I like to look at the General - Godot Forum category, but I don’t like all the posts about AI. Not sure what to do. They pop up all the time. 
You already can! If an LLM tag was added one could filter out those posts specifically, like ziggit does

Is it that easy? From what i did see the tags area is very limited it just has 5 tags.
And Filter in a forum often has only an include feature not a filter out, is that already implemented?

Right i go to filter, then i can select tags, now i see only the topics in that tag clear so far, now how do i specify that i dont want to see topics with the specified tag, there the features get a bit cofusing.

I see you can do - and it shows a dropdown list in the posting -category:general is selected. Now in the dropdown there is no selection for tags, so to implement the feature the mods would need to add a new tag ai and also add the -tag: tagname too, then it would work, or do i miss something, can ai posts already actually be filtered out already without more implementation?
There is a tag in the drop-down though

For me it looks like this, tag: is available but only for positive filtering, do i miss something? Am i in the wrong menu?

I honestly dont see how this is related to AI topics and why using it would exclude AI topics:
Just type -tag and it’ll show
I think we can stop here as it works and “AI” was only an example in the original post, so that’s solved
