I come from Unity, and every recent Unity update made me shrug my shoulders, if anything. With Godot it’s the opposite, I love reading the blog posts about the changes.
One thing I find a bit annoying though is that the “Read more” links don’t lead to more details and examples, but to Github posts. They are often a bit cryptic for people outside of engine development, and often not that informative.

That looks very intriguing.

Absolutely! I think it could be the definitive solution for composition in Godot! Having resources or nodes act as components has never fully clicked with me. The feature has been on discussion for more than 2 years now and we’re finally so close to making it happen, so make sure to support it if you’re logged in Github! :victory_hand:

We need to be able to use different versions in the android editor. I don’t want to have to update my project to a whole new version of Godot just because I want to open it in the editor on my phone.

I love using Godot, but 4.5 seems to have limited my 2d escapades again, not massivly just a small annoyance, and wondered if anyone else sees this,
in the 2d sprites, I clicked Region on, and when opening the sprite editor to pick a sprite, I couldnt pan around the screen with middle mouse, and now cant max/min that window,

is this windows dockable now, or is there something I should set to allow me to move around and maximize it like in 4.4?

@kaiproton You might have better luck with a response making your own post on this.

Would you guys ever consider releasing videos demonstrating how to use these new features?
