Hey,
Curretnly there is no ‘built-in’ support for push notifications in godot and due to this i decided to write a java plugin. Unfortunately it does not work but show a error neither.
I set the module path in the editor : *org/godotengine/godot/Notification
It does load and find the module (Engine.has_singleton("Notification")
returns true ).
But calling singleton.notify()
does output nothing.
Here are my two java classes:
Notification.java
LocalNotificationReceiver
code pile
and
gradle.conf
[dependencies]
implementation 'androidx.appcompat:appcompat:1.0.0'
implementation 'androidx.legacy:legacy-support-v4:1.0.0'
Did i forget any dependencies or Permissions?
Thanks for your time and help!
P.S. (If you have a better solution please be so kind and provide it :P)
