Hi everyone! I’ve been building Harborlight, a phone fishing game in Godot, and it’s now on Google Play.
You sail a shared ocean between seven islands, fight fish on the reel and fill out your Bestiary. There are over 250 kinds of fish, and most of them swim part by part in a custom shader, with their fins, tails, jaws and gill covers each moving on their own.
There’s also a deep-sea submarine event, an aquarium that earns while you’re away, and a daily fishing contest.

I’d love feedback, especially on how it feels in the first ten minutes. Happy to answer questions about how anything was built!

I gave this game a try today, first for around 15 minutes, had fun and did not find the info poping too invasive.
then played for around another 20 minutes, got better at fishing, got a better rod (from the free spin). the fishing mechanics are ok, not too hard but with the eventual crazy fish.
I like the game so far, the graphics are really nice, animations and pace is ok too.
Glad to see something like this coming from Godot
Also i’m not really a mobile player so don’t take my feedback too seriously.
I will keep playing casually
Congrats for getting a game done!
Thank you so much! This is the first feedback i got outside of beta testers, so im very happy
Im glad you enjoy the game. I update it almost every day, so if you see something you would like changed, a bug, or just a suggestion, let me know! I’m always open. Eventually, if you like the game, a review on Google Play would mean the world to me, since I don’t have any yet. Thank you, and happy fishing!
