Hey everyone! I’m a 14-year-old developer building a cooperative multiplayer 3D game. I am relatively new to Godot 4 and learning the engine as I go. I’m looking for a partner—whether you are a coder, scriptwriter, or artist—to team up with so we can learn, write scripts, handle game logic, and build a cool prototype together!
About the Game (Working Title: Patch & Poach):
It is a high-intensity, cooperative 3D party game where players run a pristine, A run down tech shop support store by day—and a highly illegal data-theft ring by the second.
- The Front Desk Player: Must stall increasingly impatient 3D customers using distraction tools (like serving artisanal lattes from an espresso machine or triggering fake system update screens) to buy the team time.
- The Backroom Players: Physically walk up to 3D workbenches, sit down, and interface with the client’s PC. They navigate an interactive virtual desktop screen to crack folder encryptions, bypass 2FA phone prompts, and copy premium AI accounts and banking files onto a USB drive before the customer catches them.
- The Black Market: Between shifts, the team meets on a dark web portal to sell their stolen files on a shifting economic market and buy permanent shop upgrades (like faster fiber-optic USBs or frosted privacy glass for the backroom).
What We Will Work On Together:
Since I am new to the engine, I am looking for a co-developer or partner to split the work with. We will brainstorm together to:
- Write GDScript & Logic: Work on the player interactions, multiplayer networking, suspicion timers, and data-stealing mini-games.
- Design the World & UI: Source free low-poly 3D models for the tech shop and design the 2D desktop layout menus that players click through.
Project Scope:
This is a strictly unpaid, hobby/learning project meant for fun, testing ideas, and getting better at game dev. If you are a student, fellow beginner, or hobbyist who thinks this sounds like a hilarious game loop to build together, drop a comment or send me a DM! Let’s learn together!
