How do I see public profile and how do I not watch every category?

The forum just allowed me to create my public profile. Where can I view it to see if its the way I want it?

I get a notification icon next to any category that has a new post, even though I haven’t explicitly chosen to watch anything, is there a way to disable this behaviour?

You should be able to right here. You can try opening it in a different browser where you’re not logged in to see exactly what it looks like for other users.

If you go to each individual category’s page (e.g. Help), there should be a bell icon at the top right. You can change it to Muted to hide the dot when there’s a new topic.
