How I speed up game art & animation - my 3-min workflow

Hey everyone! I’ve been experimenting with faster ways to create game-ready art and animations. I just made a short video where I draw a game character in Illustrator and animate it in Spine - the whole process takes just about ~3 minutes. It’s kind of my attempt (a lot) to balance speed and quality - and I think I’ve found a workflow that really saves a lot of time, especially for small indie projects. I will be glad to join your team as an artist

I’d love to hear:

  • How do you handle your art & animation workflow?

  • Do you have any tips for speeding things up without sacrificing too much quality?

  • Any tools or tricks you swear by?

Always looking to improve - happy to discuss

Listen, no shade, but something feels real fishy about you.

It feels like instead of creating an actual discussion for others to engage in, you create a springboard to promote your content. And I feel that’s bad etiquette on a forum like this.

Instead of feeling like a person, you feel like a product.

Also, this topic should be tagged with General, not Forum Feedback

You might be right that I often write around my own content, but it’s just that I got really excited about making videos about game development - I’m really enjoying it. I can feel my skills growing, I’ve been learning so much more, and I really want to share that and get some feedback.

I’ll try to focus less on my videos though. It’s just that I only started drawing a couple of months ago, and this is one of my first public attempts - I honestly don’t know many other places where I could get feedback on my skills.
