Drag and drop where?
If it is in godot’s project folder, you can Copy the files from source and paste it in there (project folder). Then godot will automatically import them, but if a red “x” appears in place of the file’s icon, you’ll have to reimport the file manually.

I see. I would prefere an optional import file dialog for resources. Drag and drop moves files often in the main folder and not the directory. Hm?
