I am making an Hotline Miami like game but in 3D with reto 90s aesthetic and I want to add some similar AI mobsters, like they walk on specified path but if they hear a noise or see the player they run towards him 9or shoot if ranged) however if they lose track of player they go back on doing their business (walking in the specified path). Can anyone help me out, I am new in godot.

May I suggest looking into Navigation paths, state machines for the AI, and possibly A-Star parhfinding.
